Editor LM76 Application Story
| APL Marine, one of the world’s largest container shipping firms, will outfit 16 of these massive APL Marine Panamax Container Ships with Searchlight Positioning Slides from LM76 Linear Motion Bearings. |
The original system consisted of a welded pipe-stand which would often obstruct the Captain’s view. |
 LM76 devised a high moment capability, low friction bearing/roller block and rail system. The system is plated for corrosion resistance: brackets, rollers, rails and end stops. Allretaining pins and hardware are stainless. |
 It’s a long way up there! Or… ifthere’s a problem, a long way down. Ouch! |
