Motion Control – Application – When abrasive dust in a corrugated carton company cause premature bearing failure resulting in costly downtime the company turned to LM76, the company with “the Engineering Edge!” LM76 retrofitted the blocks with CeramicSpeed ceramic balls. As the smoother, low friction ceramic balls do not require lubrication the abrasive dust is no longer turned into a bearing destroying lapping compound, and as a bonus the rails did not have to be replaced!
